Vanilla Honey Butter and Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

Vanilla Honey Butter

½ cup butter

1/4 cup powdered sugar

1/4 cup honey

1 tsp vanilla extract

Directions

1) Whip butter and powdered sugar together until smooth; stir in honey and vanilla.

2) Serve on pancakes or biscuits.

Note: This recipe has been made only a few times, but the times this recipe was made were sucessful. 😉

 

Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

1 cup butter or margarine (2 sticks), softened

1 cup firmly packed brown sugar

½ cup sugar

2 eggs

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 ½ cups flour

1 tsp baking soda

1 tsp cinnamon

½ tsp salt

3 cups old fashioned oats

1 cup raisins

Directions

1) Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

2) Beat together butter and sugars until creamy.

3) Add eggs and vanilla, beat well.

4) Add combined flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt; mix well.

5) Stir in oats and raisins; mix well. Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet.

6) Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.

7) Cool 1 minute on cookie sheet; remove to wire rack.
